A professional services firm which offers both accountancy and legal practices is supporting the digital industry's leading women by sponsoring our West Midlands Tech Awards.
Askews, based in Coventry, runs Askews Legal and Askews Chartered Certified Accountants and is the latest to be announced as a sponsor of the new awards which are run by BirminghamLive and sister website CoventryLive.
The firm has chosen to sponsor the West Midlands Woman in Tech Award, one of 12 to be handed out at the ceremony in December which will celebrate investors, start ups, corporations and public sector organisations.
Askews says it appreciates how difficult it can be for companies to get lawyers and accountants together to discuss business matters unless you instruct a big London firm which prompted the group to bring both services under one roof.
Partner Neil Askew said: "As a firm of solicitors and accountants, we have embraced technology and are utilising software to help to improve service to all our clients.
"We are one of a handful of firms which are adopting modern practices such as going paper light and using case management systems to allow staff the freedom to work remotely and agile.
"It is important to Askews that we promote technology in industry as it will help to improve the work and home life balance.''
