A Midland landscaping company has raised more than £3,000 for Birmingham Children's Hospital by climbing the highest mountains of Scotland, England and Wales in less than 24 hours.

Staff from Whiting Landscape in Bromsgrove were celebrating the company’s 35th anniversary.

Richard Spear and Steve Corbett organised the initiative and invited friends Adrian Marskell and Andy Ogden to join the climb. Mr Spear said: “We felt it was an appropriate way to mark such a significant milestone in the company’s history and would like to thank everyone who supported us.

“The money will be divided equally between Ward 10 Neurosurgery and Ward 15 Oncology at the hospital.”
