24-hour drinks, which claims to be the UK's only 24-hour alcohol retailer, has agreed terms on a new flagship branch in Birmingham city centre.

The new store, which will be available to customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week, is designed as an " express" type outlet, where people will be able to make their purchase quickly and efficiently.

The firm already has one store in Selly Oak - the new store will be at 78 Bristol Street in the city centre.

The firm noted: " This streamlined version of the company's individual trading style will suit a fast-paced, high turnover environment, while still retaining the relaxed, yet safe atmosphere of the sister outlet in Selly Oak."

Founder of 24-hour drinks Duncan Stanley said: "We are very excited about the new shop. We are aiming to provide a continuation of the secure and efficient service that we have achieved at Selly Oak. The Bristol Street shop is in a prime location, and is highly visible and offers easy access to all."
