Bond Wolfe has beaten off stiff competition from other Midlands auctioneers to win the tender to act for Coventry City Council in the sale of land and property in the borough.

The appointment has already resulted in West Bromwich-based Bond Wolfe being instructed to sell five properties for Coventry City Council in its September auction.

The Coventry contract is the latest new business win for Bond Wolfe's auctioneering department which is now instructed to act for the metropolitan borough councils of Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Sandwell, as well as British Waterways.

Associate director James Mattin said that Bond Wolfe was delighted to have been selected to act for Coventry City Council.

"We won this tender to act for Coventry City Councl against strong competition from other Midlands auctioneers in what is a very competitive marketplace.

"Our ability to deliver for other major institutional clients and our higher profile won through in the end, and this is further proof that Bond Wolfe is best equipped to deal with institutional disposals."

Coventry City Council has already instructed Bond Wolfe to sell five properties in its September auction at the Holte Suite, Aston Villa FC.
