Shropshire law firm Manby & Steward has expanded its business services department with the appointment of Antony Bolton as assistant solicitor.

Mr Bolton brings four years' litigation experience to the role and will support Stuart Rea, the head of business services at the Telford office. Mr Bolton said: "I'm delighted to be joining Manby & Steward and am looking forward to developing my career in corporate law.

"Having grown up in Telford, the opportunity to join such an established and respected firm while staying in the locality was particularly appealing and I am really pleased to be on board."

In his new role Mr Bolton will be responsible for advising businesses on a range of issues including mergers and acquisitions, contracts and appropriate business mediums.

He continued: "I particularly enjoyed corporate work while I was completing my training contract and believe that my litigation experience will help bring a fresh approach to my work. Above all, I am looking forward to helping local enterprises establish themselves and expand over the coming years and playing a role in their ongoing success."

Mr Rea added: "We are happy that Antony has joined us and confident that he will quickly become an invaluable part of the team.

"His expertise, combined with local knowledge and a desire to go on learning, are real attributes and I am sure he will enjoy every success in his new role."
