Bmi is to return as a carrier to Birmingham International Airport after leaving Birmingham just under eight years ago.
The full service airline has announced it will operate services between Aberdeen and Birmingham from 29 March 2009, taking over from bmibaby. Bmi regional will increase the schedule to three times daily.
Paul Kehoe, Chief Executive Officer of Birmingham Airport said: “I am delighted that Bmi regional has chosen to operate the Aberdeen service from Birmingham Airport.
"Bmi regional, now with extra frequencies to Aberdeen, has a great product to offer both leisure and business passengers and we look forward to another airline joining Birmingham’s growing portfolio.”
