A Staffordshire print firm is bringing a Baltic feel to in-store displays on the high street in the UK.
BlueStock, based in Lichfield, has started a joint venture with a globally successful Estonian printing firm to make displays and stationery for retailers.
The joint venture - Print Centre Solutions - will have its headquarters in Lichfield, and will work with designers, brand managers and advertising agencies to make point-of-sale designs.
The Estonian firm, Print Centre Eesti, is already a point-of-sale manufacturer from some of the biggest brands in the world, in the world, including Coca Cola, Sony EMI, Walt Disney Stores and Carlsberg Tetley.
BlueStock managing director Simon Rigby said: "For the last decade the Estonian company has been supplying such a diverse range of countries and cultures with point of sale that they have become a powerhouse of manufacturing ideas and possibilities which is exactly what creative designers in the UK are looking for.
"They held talks in the UK last year looking for a print partner and saw 25 specialists like ourselves and eventually chose us because of our retail supply background and our ideas for approaching this competitive market.
"They are proven problem solvers who can turn the most outrageous designs into reality which is why I had no hesitation in agreeing the joint venture. Seventy per cent of our customers are graphic designers buying print for brochures and catalogues so we can now offer print solutions for the complete package."
Print Centre Solutions can produce one off displays or co-ordinate and manufacture full campaigns, producing everything from luxury carrier bags and presentation boxes, shelf displays and pavement signs, to pop-ups, cut-outs, standys and even board games - popular in Scandinavia.
It can also print support literature like brochures, catalogues, leaflets and flyers, making the firm a one stop shop for print and promotion, it says.
The company has printed a 36-page brochure illustrating much of their recent work, which includes campaigns for the third Pirates of the Caribbean film, Shrek 3 and designs for for Coca Cola and Famous Grouse whisky.
