Generous workers at Barclays Commercial Bank in Birmingham have helped raise £1,770 for St John Fisher RC Primary School in Birmingham.
Tina Perkins and her niece and nephew, who all work for Barclays Commercial Bank, ran various stalls at the school fete and also supported a school disco. They raised a massive £885 which Barclays then doubled as part of the Barclays Community investment programme matched funding scheme.
Tina’s daughter attends the school and the Barclays worker is the treasurer for St John Fisher PFA. She said: “I really enjoy fundraising and it is great to raise so much money for our school. It is fantastic that my employer Barclays supports and matches the funds raised.”
