A private equity backed Birmingham recruitment agency has acquired a rival in the East Midlands.
Logistics recruitment specialists Templine Employment Agency, which is financed by Key Capital Partners, has bought A&A Recruitment in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire.
A&A, which has 27 years experience in the industrial and commercial markets, is the second acquisition made by Templine in the last twelve months, following the acquisition of two 247 staff branches in September 2012.
Templine, which has its head office in Birmingham Business Park, now operates 27 branches across the UK providing temporary labour to customers in the distribution, warehousing, industrial and driving sectors, managing more than 2,300 employees each week.
Tony Bucciero, managing director at Templine, said: “A&A Recruitment shares the same client service culture as Templine, which makes the businesses a great fit.
“This acquisition enhances our branch network and I look forward to working with the team at A&A recruitment as we continue to grow our combined business.”
Turnover at Templine has doubled since the MBO of the business in 2007, which was supported by KCP.
Owen Trotter, managing partner at KCP and board director at Templine, added: “Despite a difficult market the team at Templine have delivered exceptional growth rates both organically and through acquisition.
“We are keen to continue to back the team and are actively on the look-out for further acquisition opportunities.”
