A Birmingham recruitment agency is to launch a new networking group aimed at PAs and executive assitants.
Key Personnel, in Waterloo Street, will host the first ever PA/PM event at Marco Pierre White’s Steakhouse in the Cube on March 27, which is expected to attract personal assistants and EAs from across the Midlands.
PA/PM will be held once a quarter, is free of charge to attend and offers benefits including access to the PA/PM e-bulletin and signposting to professional development opportunities.
Mary Hendry, managing director of Key Personnel, said: “PAs and EAs are a fundamental part of the business community and are often the people that get things done without all the headlines and plaudits that go with it.
“This will give them a forum to share experiences, discuss current trends and the opportunity to inter-trade and refer new business.
“The fact we’ve already got 40 guests signed up shows that this is a networking session that Birmingham has been waiting for.
“We are hoping to create a new community and the events will form the focal point of this.
“Other plans involve launching a PA/PM LinkedIn Group and Twitter account, which will provide instant access to peer-mentoring and support.”
