Halesowen-based Bidtimes, the investment company owned by entrepreneur Russell Stevens has posted 2005 operating losses of £45,950.

The loss narrowed by more than £76,000 from £122,207 in

2004. Bidtimes said it is considering issuing more shares to provide funds for future investments.

The company added that it is satisfied with the performance of the investment portfolio during the year, with the exception of Aldridge-based SRS Technology Group.

Bidtimes said that it had been forced to write down the value of its investment in SRS, which designs environmental control devices that can be used by those with disabilities.

Bidtimes' full year revenues rose to £91,172 from £88,693, while the operating loss widened to £17,547 from £1,480.

The company reported a loss per share of 26p - up from 70p in 2004.
