Stourbridge bar and catering products company Beaumont says it is set to expand following the introduction of a new investor.
Leicestershire businessman Kevin Dawson, who has a number of interests, including T&K Engineering, has bought a 50 per cent stake in Beaumont for an undisclosed sum.
Ray Williams, who established the company 25 years ago, stays as chairman and retains half of the business.
The £4 million a year company, which employs 50 people, supplies the drinks industry.
Best known for spirit measures, Beaumont also supplies a range of bar sundries and glass accessories.
It exports to more than 30 countries.
Ross Cocker, partner and corporate finance specialist at Birmingham-based chartered accountants Clement Keys brokered the deal and also gave financial advice to Beaumont.
Mr Williams said: "We have ambitious plans to develop the company and Kevin will play an important role in helping us drive the company forward."
