Three top bankers are celebrating their collective 100th year anniversary working in the industry.

David Jew, Philip Grimshaw and Alan Wright are all relationship directors working for Barclays in the Midlands looking after the larger business market.

Specialising in the retail and business logistics industries, their clients include the likes of Dunelm, Wyevale and RH Group.

Their careers started in the early 1970s when they joined the organisation as office juniors. Duties would have included filling ink pots and replenishing blotting paper.

Mr Jew said: "I was encouraged by my parents to start work in a bank as it was viewed as a 'job for life' and they were right."
