A construction marketer has fled her father's old business to join their big city rivals.
Consultancy Bucknall Austin has recruited Victoria Back as sales and marketing manager from the Back Group, the firm her dad David founded in 1977 and sold last year to a management buy-out.
Ms Back, aged 29, of Henley-in-Arden, worked for nine years for her father in key account management, business development and office management in both Birmingham and London.
At Bucknall Austin she will be involved with clients including BAE Systems, BNFL and De Vere Hotels.
She said: "The Bucknall Austin opportunity inspired me. It is a firm with history, like the one I've come from, but which is enjoying a 'second coming' since the buy-out three years ago.
"Exciting developments are afoot and I want to be a part of the enthusiasm and passion for collaborative regeneration which Bucknall Austin stands for."
