Two Midland property developers have revealed plans to invest up to £3 million to turn the former GKN site in Aldridge into a business park.

Pal and Sunny Singh, from Property Link Midlands, have agreed a deal to take over the site and plan a wide refurbishment.

The pair aim to rejuvenate the site into a multi let business park creating employment space and quality office, warehouse and industrial space.

The site is set within secured fenced and gated security on 15 acres on approximately up to 450,000 sq ft.

Mr Pal Singh said the site may be split to suit requirements from 5,000 sq ft up to 300,000 sq ft.

He said: “Despite the economic times we are in, through constant investment and strategic purchases we have experienced tremendous growth across our property portfolio of now up to 10,000 million sq ft.

“The former GKN Driveline works based here is a piece of local history and unfortunately the engineering works on this site was a victim of the current economic climate, we will be investing a considerable sum of money to refurbish the commercial complex.”
