It was best feet forward for executives and staff from BHSF who raised £3,356 on the 28-mile St Basil’s Cotswold Challenge 2010.
The charity is one of the Birmingham-based healthcare insurer’s corporate social responsibility partners and the walk is part of the company’s ongoing support.
Two teams of six walkers from BHSF stepped out from Chipping Campden to spend nearly 12 hours on the road.
Peter Maskell, chief executive of BHSF who was on the walk, presented a cheque to Lucy Hackett, head of fundraising and coporate partnerships at St Basil’s, the charity which helps homeless youngsters in the Birmingham area.
He said: “Although some in our teams suffered quite badly, we can all be proud of our achievement.”
