Rydale's long awaited £1 million dealership in Kingstanding opened its doors to the public recently, creating 20 jobs for the region.

Located on College Road, the site houses new and used BMWs and Minis, as well as a new service centre. The dealership will also play host to Rydale's new trade centre website which is set to launch this month.

Dealer principal Colin Capewell has been joined by four experienced managers, combining existing Rydale team members as well as newcomers to the group to oversee sales and after care operations.

Craig Cole, a longstanding employee of Rydale Group, has been appointed as sales and marketing manager for new and used Mini and his counterpart Darren Mobberley, who has six years experience in the trade, has joined as new and used car sales manager.

"The members of our new management team and the other new recruits to the dealership have been significant addition to the Rydale Group," said Mr Capewell.

"They each bring with them a great deal of experience and will build on the success of MINI and BMW and provide the service people expect from our dealerships."

Also joining the new College Road team is after sales manager, Vic Ingram, who returns to the group after 12 years and parts manager Steve Simpson, who has worked with Rydale for 13 years.

College Road represents the fifth dealership for Rydale Group in the West Midlands.
