A hotel near Coventry has scored a century after tripling its workforce in less than three years.
Beauty therapist Chloe Sackett has become the 100th employee at the recently extended Macdonald Brandon Hall & Spa after joining the six-strong beauty team at the Vital Leisure and Health Spa.
The 21-year-old's appointment takes the hotel in Main Street, Brandon, past the milestone.
A £10 million refurbishment was completed in December which included doubling the number of bedrooms to 112 and building the spa and a conference centre which can cater for up to 280 delegates.
Chloe said: "I have settled in really quickly and it is great to be the 100th employee.
"At college you learn the basics and then when you join a salon you learn the different types of products which they use and their range of treatments. That means you need further training so I am going on a Decleor training course this month."
Debbie Johnson, general manager of the Macdonald Brandon Hall Hotel & Spa, welcomed Chloe to the expanding team.
"The beauty department is thriving but I am not surprised because of the high standard of the treatments that we provide and the relaxing environment in Vital," she said.
"When I was appointed three years ago we had 31 people working here and to have tripled our workforce to 100 is a boost to the hotel and the local area.
"We needed more staff due to the extra bedrooms and conferencing and banqueting suites created by the refurbishment as well as the creation of Vital."
