Luxury car manufacturer Jaguar has lent its name to the Godiva Festival 2006 - billed as the largest such free music, comedy and family event in the West Midands.

For a ninth successive year, the newlytitled Jaguar Godiva Festival will return to the Memorial Park in Coventry between July 14 and 16.

Event organiser CV One has lined up an array of rock, pop, hip hop and acoustic artists, orchestras, comedy acts, a human circus and a host of family entertainment for the three-day event, which attracts more than 75,000 people each year.

Les Ratcliffe, community relations manager for Jaguar, said: "The Jaguar Godiva Festival in Coventry has grown to become a major highlight of the UK festival calendar and Jaguar, with its ongoing support to the community, is delighted to have been one of its leading supporters since its beginning in the early 1990s."
