National Indoor Arena, Birmingham

One of Europe’s largest indoor music and sporting venues opened in Birmingham in 1991 as the National Indoor Arena (NIA). It has hosted some of the world's top music and comedy artists, as well as Davis Cup tennis, international indoor athletics and was the home of long-running TV show Gladiators. The 12,802 capacity arena was renamed the Barclaycard Arena in December 2014 following a £26m redevelopment. The arena is part of the NEC Group.
