Phil Donkin Quartet

Wednesday, March 11

The bassist now based in New York brings his band to the city for a rare visit. Presented by Beat City at Urban Coffee, Church Street, Birmingham, 7.30pm, £7.50.

Tom Green Septet

Friday, March 13

Brilliant composer and band leader, trombonist Green makes a jazz combo sound like a big band. Presented by Jazzlines at Symphony Hall cafe bar, 5pm, Free. More at thsh.co.uk/jazzlines

Chasing The Unicorn

Tuesday, March 17
