This Saturday marks the first of many summer events for The Custard Factory in Digbeth.

From June to September a series of fun-packed events for both adults and children alike promises to cater for every interest and display the creativity and talent Birmingham has to offer.

The first event on June 8 will kick start with a Custard Factory Antiques and Vintage Bazaar with an impressive 120 stall line up as well as live music from Moseley Folk Festival and food stalls in Gibb Square.

If you're up for the challenge, the charity Acorns will be hosting a fundraising abseil that implores daredevils to tackle a 100ft wall.

If climbing isn't your idea of fun then a Street Art and Skater Festival on July 20, a VIP Music Fair on June 22 or a world record DJ-ing attempt might be. All Summer Saturday activities are free entry.

Lucan Gray, owner of The Custard Factory, said: “We are really pleased to launch this programme of events for the summer. There is enough variety that it should be possible to come every Saturday and see something different.”
