Maintaining the pace throughout, as court jester Muddles, was Basil Brush Show star Chris Pizzey, who is made from the same mold as panto king Brian Conley.
This really is show for all ages, even if the humour gets a bit fruity at times – “I’ve a steering wheel in my trousers and it’s driving me nuts”.
There is a well-timed slapstick routine and a Magic Mirror to make little jaws drop.
It runs until January 5 but be warned: unless you’re sitting in the back rows, you may want to take a waterproof!
