The Lamborghini marque continues its rise in 2015, with record sales of 2,530 cars delivered to customers worldwide last year, with Lamborghini Birmingham and the UK also seeing its best year ever.

Despite that, Lamborghini retains its exclusivity: the Italian super sports car manufacturer maintains a policy of always producing less than demand, which means a consistently strong order bank for both its V10 Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 launched last year, and its V12 Lamborghini Aventador models.

The Lamborghini Huracán, for which deliveries started late last summer, has also collected a record number of awards worldwide including Top Gear magazine’s 2014 Super Car of the Year, FHM’s Car of the Year, and more awards to be announced! Look out for the Lamborghini Huracán in the new season of Top Gear television starting end of January.

“The Huracán’s success is coming from its pure design, benchmarking performance and remarkable handling,“ says Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.

It’s designed as a car to be driven daily: its unique settings switch on the steering wheel allows the ride and handling dynamics to be selected depending on the driving style, whether in town, on the open road or on the race track.

“The Huracán is a remarkable car and a worthy successor to the Gallardo,” says Chris Synnott Sales Manager of Lamborghini Birmingham. “However, the Gallardo didn’t become the best-selling Lamborghini of all time by chance, and it’s still a highly desirable pre-owned car today.”

If the V12 Lamborghini Aventador’s extreme good looks and extraordinary performance is more appealing, then the Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli special edition has just been announced, celebrating the relationship between the two Italian brands that started with founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s request for Pirelli tyres on his first car, the 350 GTV in 1963.

Available to order now at Lamborghini Birmingham, the Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli will be produced in both coupe and roadster versions, for delivery starting later this year.

“The future for Lamborghini is remarkably exciting” Chris. “Lamborghini is committed to showing a new product at major motor shows, and Geneva Auto Salon in March is just around the corner!”

Last autumn saw the presentation of the Lamborghini Asterion concept, a technology demonstrator that featured class-leading plug-in hybrid technologies whilst still guaranteeing a unique Lamborghini driving experience.

“Our customers are also just as enthusiastic about Lamborghini as we are,” concludes Chris. “They are successful, discerning, entrepreneurial individuals, who appreciate luxury and the extraordinary things in life.

"That’s what Lamborghini is all about, and we’re really proud to represent the brand here in Birmingham, our show is situated on Wingfoot Way, next to the iconic Fort Dunlop building and alongside the M6 Motorway."

Exciting times for Bentley

Last year saw some very exciting developments for Bentley. In 2015 we are looking forward to seeing the brand hit new heights once again.

Mulsanne Speed launch

One of the highlights for us last year was the launch of the Mulsanne Speed, which redefines the fastest ultra-luxury driving experience in the world. Made for the driver and the driven, the new Mulsanne Speed defines Bentley as a flagship for driving luxury performance. Every journey is distinguished, calm and relaxing, connecting you to the road with relentless dynamic performance on demand.

Victory on the track

Reflecting Bentley’s origins on the track, we were delighted to see M-Sport Bentley restate the brand’s pre-eminence with a historic win in the UK – the first for 84 years. On only its second outing in the Blancpain Endurance Series, Continental GT3 car #7, driven by Guy Smith, Andy Meyrick and Steven Kane, took the chequered flag in first place at Silverstone in May following an astonishing performance by the team. We expect to see the team on the podium again in 2015.

Continental refined

Inspired by the spirit of the Concours d’Elegance, the Concours Series and Concours Series Black add refined luxury and sporting design cues to the definitive Continental GT, GT V8 and GT V8 models. Arriving at Bentley Birmingham in February, we can’t wait to see them.

£40million factory expansion

Bentley is investing £40million in its facilities in Crewe to prepare for the launch of the Bentayga SUV in 2016. The investment will fund the expansion of the Bentley factory and HQ in Crewe, creating a new R&D centre, along with new styling studios and technical workshops.

Another first: Bentayga SUV launch

Bentley has always looked to take luxury to new places and the new SUV, the Bentley Bentayga, does just that. Inspired by the natural world, it will combine sector-defining luxury with impressive on and off road performance. The new Bentayga will be available later in the year.

Where will Bentley take you in 2015?

As you can see, there’s an exciting year ahead for Bentley. Why not come and find out how you can join or continue your journey at Bentley Birmingham? We would be delighted to share our expertise and the unique combination of luxury and performance the only Bentley can deliver.
