An armed robber suffered a cardiac arrest and died during a bungled raid on a bookmakers, an inquest heard today.

A new contract between GPs and the Government will see a "return to the old-fashioned values of family doctors" according to Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt.

The changes are aimed to keep more patients out of hospital and will give every person aged 75 and over a specific, accountable GP to ensure they receive co-ordinated care.

Meanwhile, over £30 million has been raised by the Typhoon Haiyan charity appeal in just three days, it has been revealed.

And, the European Commission found Spain has broken no EU rules by stepping up checks on the border crossing into Gibraltar it has been announced.
