The first three years of the Birmingham area's local enterprise partnership will be the focus of city centre event next month.
Steve Hollis, deputy chair of the Greater Birmingham & Solihull LEP, will outline the body's achievements and also its key plans for the future at the event entitled 'GBSLEP: a Year in Review'.
GBSLEP was formed following the wind down of Advantage West Midlands and commenced work in summer 2011.
Its achievements over the past three years include the recently announced funding stream of £357.3m from the Local Growth Fund to help provide 19,000 jobs as part of GBSLEP's Growth Deal.
Mr Hollis, the former Midlands chairman for KPMG, will also be discussing the important role professional services firms should play in the continued regeneration of Birmingham city centre and the surrounding area.
The event, which is being organised by networking group BPS Birmingham, will be hosted by Jones Lang LaSalle on September 4.
