Drama centres on activities of Small Heath gang in post-war Birmingham and we've highlighted some of the places mentioned in the script
Hit TV series Peaky Blinders tonight (Thursday) screens the third episode of its tale of gangsters on the streets of Birmingham in 1919.
Cillian Murphy and Sam Neill lead the cast of the six-part drama. It centres on a Small Heath band of crooks who earned the name Peaky Blinders from razor blades sewn into their caps, which they used to slash the faces of their enemies.
As it’s set in Birmingham, there are numerous references to the city and our reporter Roz Laws has highlighted some of the local places mentioned in the script. We’ve featured them on the map below.
Peaky Blinders is on BBC2 tonight at 9pm.
