West Bromwich Albion have announced a seven-figure sponsorship deal with online gaming firm Bodog.

The Baggies will display the name of the company for the next two seasons in what is their biggest-ever sponsorship tie-in, worth in excess of £1million per year.

They will officially become club sponsors from July 1 and will have additional high-profile branding at The Hawthorns.

The deal also paves the way for the imminent launch of the new adidas kit.

Albion chief executive Mark Jenkins welcomed the club’s new sponsors.

“We are delighted to have Bodog on board,” said Jenkins. “Following our most successful Barclays Premier League campaign there was a great deal of interest in becoming our club sponsor.

“We had a number of options and in the end Bodog presented an all-round partnership that best suits both parties.

“We look forward to helping them promote their brand in the Premier League.”
