A man has died following a house fire in Staffordshire.
The incident occurred at a property on Heath Street, Hednesford, shortly before 12.55pm on Thursday.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene, ambulance crews found a man who had been brought out of the property by firefighters at the scene.
“Unfortunately nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
