The entire office of city centre PR consultancy Liquid will be taking on the Morrisons Great Birmingham 10k this weekend.

The consultancy, which recently relocated from its base in Bromsgrove, will be running in aid of the Stroke Association.

Chief executive Elisabeth Lewis-Jones said: "We're not all natural runners but we believe in keeping fit and having fun, so our entire Birmingham office agreed to all sign up and raise money for the Stroke Association.

"We are realistic and know that we won't be breaking any running records but we hope to raise money for a charity very close to our hearts."

Also running in the Business Challenge team are managing director Jason MacKenzie, account manager Jon Perks, office manager Ben Carrett and account executives Laura Turner, Leila Taleb and Aimee Wood.

The Great Birmingham 10k takes place on May 3 and is being supported by the Birmingham Post.

Any size of company can take part in the Business Challenge and enter male, female or mixed teams which must have a minimum of two men and two women.

Teams must have four to eight runners but a company can enter as many teams as it wishes. All participants must be 16 years of age or over on race day.

Prizes will be awarded to the first three teams in each category. For more details and to enter visit www.greatrun.org.
