Le Monde Fish Bar and Grill has opened to the public after a four month building programme to convert offices above Café Rouge in Brindleyplace into a 160-seater restaurant and cocktail bar.

In Art Deco style and featuring polished chromes, glittering chandeliers and a dominating fresh fish and meat display, Le Monde is serving the widest choice of fish in the city. There is also an extensive bar area with its own express menu and a private area for events and meetings.

The principle is retained in Brindleyplace – shellfish, fish, poultry and steaks are on display for customers to choose exactly what cut and weight they would like. There is an open kitchen where customers can see their food being prepared. Around £400,000 has been invested at Le Monde Brindleyplace, and 25 full and part time jobs created. The front of house team includes Gemma Meah and Rachel O’Mahoney who have both worked at other prestigious Brindleyplace restaurants previously.
