A Grade II listed building has been acquired by Black Country business DLT Management (UK).

The Wolverhampton-based company has bought King Charles House, in Castle Hill, Dudley, and will be relocating from its current base in Union Street.

Management company DLT has purchased the freehold of the building in an undisclosed, six-figure deal and says it now plans to make "a significant investment" to modernise the property.

King Charles House, which is 4,791 sq ft over four floors, was previously utilised as part of the Association of Conservative Clubs.

The deal was put together by West Bromwich-based property consultancy Bond Wolfe.

Managing director James Mattin said: "As well as moving in themselves, DLT Management (UK) aim to offer some of the most exclusive office space available in Dudley.

"This sale further highlights the increasing demand for not only freehold opportunities but particularly Grade II-listed buildings with potential.

"This is the latest in a long list of listed buildings we have sold during the last 24 months and we are starting to see demand far outweighing supply as far as freehold is concerned.

"I am excited to see the end product once the purchaser completes their programme of scheduled improvements to what is a character filled building."
