A new place for prosecco is opening in Birmingham.

Olivia’s Townhouse, a boutique cocktail bar and club with terrace, will open in the Arcadian - in the building formerly occupied by a Reflex nightclub.

The 7,000 sq ft venue will comprise of am “elegant bar serving up prosecco and cocktails” as well as a “state-of-the-art” clubroom.

Owners Innspired Leisure, plan to spend £750,000 on refurbishing the venue, including installing a four-metre high tree that will be lit up at night, a outside garden area and a first floor terrace.

The company hopes Olivia’s Townhouse in Birmingham will be the first venue of a new brand, with further venues opening across the country.

It is welcome news for the centre and surrounding area which has seen a number of high profile closures over the years including Le Truc, Meating and The Electric nightclub which is due to be bulldozed later this year.

On the bar's new facebook page it states: " There's a new social butterfly landing in Birmingham, she's got her own party pad and you're invited.

"Olivia is getting ready to fling open her doors, to reveal a designer interior, fit for her exclusive guest list.
