Independent property consultancy GJS Dillon has merged with chartered surveyor JWL Fellows.

Stourport-based JWL Fellows was established in 1986 and has a client base covering north Worcestershire, the Black Country and parts of Birmingham, specialising in valuations, building surveys and dilapidations.

Its founder Bill Fellows has now become a partner at GJS Dillion which has offices in Worcester and Bromsgrove.

The merger has enabled the new-look company to offer a broader range of services including valuation, secured valuation, building surveying, acquisition consultancy and property management.

GJS Dillon director John Dillon said: "Having one of the most respected surveyors in the Midlands come into the firm, when we are taking on so much extra business, is fantastic timing and his skills base allows us to offer a complete service to existing and new commercial property owners."

Mr Fellows added: "I have been so impressed with the growth and reputation that GJS Dillon has established in the Midlands property market and I am really looking forward to both businesses coming together to capitalise on what is certainly a strengthening commercial property market."

All three offices will continue to operate and the new-look company will have eight staff following the deal.
