Mills & Reeve has celebrated being ranked top law firm in the UK for client satisfaction in Legal Week’s annual client satisfaction survey.

Two partners from the firm’s Birmingham office – Richard Santy, an employment specialist, and Martino Giaquinto, a construction litigation expert – were among four partners from across the practice singled out in the survey.

Now in its 11th year, the survey canvasses the views of general counsel, CEOs and MDs and 80 per cent of the FTSE 100 companies.

This year more than 1,400 clients were interviewed and Mills & Reeve was one of 43 firms featured in the report.

Mills & Reeve scored best for responsiveness and quality of legal advice, and was praised by clients for its “approachability and responsiveness” and “sector knowledge”.

Mark Jeffries, senior partner, said: “We are delighted to receive this accolade. It is testament to the sustained effort we have made over many years to be renowned for outstanding service to clients.

“This is a mind-set which is now deeply embedded across the firm and ensures that we deliver exactly what our clients want.”

Nicola Duke, head of client care, said: “We are committed to ensuring that the way we work with our clients reflects their ever-changing demands.

“The Legal Week research is a fantastic endorsement of the work we do here and backs up our own extensive client research.

“We find our clients are more than willing to be involved in the continual improvements we seek and our most recent research among 50 corporate and private clients tells us that more than 95 per cent of them would definitely recommend us to others.”
