Law firm Lodders has appointed Jane Senior as an equity partner and new head of its dispute resolution team.

Ms Senior, who has extensive experience in property dispute resolution, joins Lodders from Wright Hassall in Leamington Spa, where she was a partner and head of property dispute resolution for more than 15 years.

She has 30 years’ experience advising companies, partnerships and individuals on a range of property litigation issues, including those relating to landlord and tenant, rights of way and development agreements.

Ms Senior is also experienced in acting for both farmers and landowners.

“My objective is to develop the firm’s general dispute resolution offering as well as the property dispute resolution service, building on the strengths of the existing team,” said Ms Senior, who will be based at Lodders’ Stratford-upon-Avon office.

“This will be in addition to providing advice to Lodders’ existing property and agricultural clients together with the respective teams that are dedicated to these sectors and individually highly regarded for their exceptional client service and advice.”

Lodders’ senior partner, Martin Green, added: “Commercial property instructions have continued to rise, and in turn associated commercial property litigation matters.

“Lodders is experiencing significant growth in instructions and revenue and Jane’s is the latest in a string of heavyweight, senior appointments in support of this.

“The firm’s reputation and prominence in the region is also growing and this is proving attractive to experienced, quality professionals who are keen to be part of a thriving firm that has a culture of partner-led client service at its heart.

“Jane is a significant senior hire for Lodders, and the perfect fit the firm.”
