Irwin Mitchell secures place on Carillion's legal network

The deal means the law firm’s specialist lawyers will provide support on the company’s property and developments work

The Real Estate team at law firm Irwin Mitchell has secured a place on integrated support services company Carillion’s legal network.

The deal means the law firm’s specialist lawyers will provide support on the company’s property and developments work.

Set to be part of the panel until 2017, Irwin Mitchell sealed its position working with Carillion with a bid led by its national head of real estate Paul Firth.

Mr Firth was supported in the bid by specialist construction lawyer Julie Morrissy.

Also real estate specialists Andrew Wallis and Kevin Fox and planning expert Emily Williams.

Mr Firth said: “We are delighted to have secured a place on Carillion’s legal network and regard the appointment as a great testament to both the significant specialist expertise we boast and the continued development of our overall business legal services offering. Carillion is a giant in the construction services industry and we hope our work to assist them in developing and undertaking major projects across the UK will prove to be the start of a long-standing relationship.”
