The corporate legal team at Midlands law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys has assisted investment facilitators Angels4Angels in backing HR and employee benefits provider Premier Employer Solutions (PES).

Founded in 2001 by Ian Rummels and based in the south west, PES is planning to use the investment to re-establish its business base and build a range of products and services for future growth.

Chris Cook, associate solicitor in Harrison Clark Rickerbys' corporate team led the transaction.

He said: "It was great to work with Angels4Angels once again on another promising deal for their investors.

"PES is a really ambitious business which has asserted a solid standing in the marketplace, which will be further strengthened by this investment.

"As with all our previous deals with Angels4Angels, the key was to structure the deal in a way that afforded the management team the flexibility to get on and run the business, while providing the right protections for Angels4Angels.

"We achieved this within limited timeframes in order to inject the necessary cash into PES that it required for its next stage of growth."

Mr Cook added: "Angels4Angels continually demonstrates its confidence in the market and I look forward to working with them in the future."

Harrison Clark Rickerbys has offices in Birmingham, Worcester, Cheltenham, Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and the Thames Valley.
