Five staff members across a variety of departments at the Birmingham office of law firm Irwin Mitchell have been promoted to associate level.

Personal injury solicitor, Emma Rush, international travel litigation legal executive Clare Pearson, and Rebecca Franklin, from the firm’s family team, have been recognised along with employment solicitor Jas Dubb and business development manager Rebecca Parker.

Stuart Henderson, regional managing partner for Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham office, said: “Achieving the status of associate is a major career landmark which signals  both to clients and the wider legal community that the person concerned is a senior and highly regarded expert within our business.

“The promotions, which are across both our commercial and personal legal divisions, not only highlight the diversity of our business but also the importance that we place in rewarding both legal and non-legal members of staff.

“All five individuals have shown their strength and achievements in relation to delivering the required high standards of service which is required at Irwin Mitchell.

“I’d like to congratulate all of them and look forward to their future contribution as we continue to grow and realise our ambition of becoming the legal brand of choice,” Mr Henderson added.

Irwin Mitchell has more than 2,300 staff based in offices in Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Bristol and Sheffield.

It also has a consulting office in Leicester and two offices in Spain.
