Stephanie Flanders, the former BBC economics editor and chief market strategist for UK and Europe at JP Morgan Asset Management, was the special guest at a Barclays Wealth and Investment Management event in Birmingham.

Ms Flanders spoke at a Barclays Wealth seminar at the bank’s headquarters in Colmore Square.

The event, The Future of Investments, was aimed at local investors, business owners and entrepreneurs.

Ms Flanders gave an economic update as well as her views on the investment market.

She also spoke about current activity in the markets, and shared her thoughts on areas of focus for investors in the coming months.

The event was attended by more than 50 businesspeople from global companies based in the Midlands, as well as local entrepreneurs and business owners.
