Midland Chartered Accountancy firm Hayward Wright has taken another step forward in its growth plans with the hiring of three new apprentices.

The firm, which has offices in Redditch and Worcester, has grown to employ 12 people since being founded in 2007, with the trio of new trainee accountants set to expand their workforce further.

Teenagers Chloe Blackwell and Elliot Troth, both 19, and 18-year-old Jacob Grey have joined the practice which specialises in tax planning, statutory accounts and general business advice.

The three apprentices, all from Worcestershire, are concentrating on specialist areas of the business and will be mentored by members of the senior team as each works towards their Level 3 AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) diploma.

Hayward Wright's managing director Alistair Hayward-Wright said he was thrilled to be adding 'the talent of tomorrow' to his team of financial and business experts.

He said: "Chloe, Elliot and Jacob have the passion and enthusiasm we look for in all of our people.

"It is great we are attracting new talent to the industry and these appointments underline our commitment to the region by giving new opportunities for young people looking to train and build a career.

"All three have their own mentors - part of our culture to instil the correct business practices, pro-active approaches and values at an early stage."

Mr Hayward-Wright added: "Our industry needs fresh faces and must constantly attract the talent of tomorrow. In Chloe, Elliot and Jacob, I think we've got three first-class trainees who, with hard work and dedication, have promising careers ahead of them.

"I am certain they will all be a success and they will all become valuable additions to the Hayward Wright team as we expand our client base."
