Birmingham accountancy firm Clement Keys has bolstered its VAT team with the appointment of a new director.
The Edgbaston-based practice has recruited Adam Lloyd who has 25 years of experience and will be advising businesses and organisations across a number of sectors.
Mr Lloyd has specific knowledge of the healthcare, financial services, not-for-profit and corporate finance sectors and spent 12 years with KPMG and stints with various financial institutions including HM Revenue & Customs.
He will be providing advice and support to the firm's existing clients, as well focusing on new business development and expanding the VAT team.
Mr Lloyd said: "I am particularly looking forward to the varied nature of the role and helping local businesses to thrive and, in turn, continuing to support growth in the region.
"As the economy strengthens, businesses are continuing to closely monitor their costs and managing their VAT liability is an important part of this."
