Corporate finance specialist Andy Moore has launched Bracebridge Corporate Finance in Birmingham.

Bracebridge will advise business owners, private equity firms, corporates and management teams on company sales, acquisitions, MBOs and capital raising.

It will also offer advice in relation to acquisition strategies and exit strategies.

Mr Moore started his career with PwC, venturing overseas with PwC Corporate Finance in Singapore and Australia, where he advised on acquisitions and disposals of companies across the Asia Pacific region.

He later returned to the UK and was one of the founding partners of an independent corporate finance advisory firm.

Bracebridge has als appointed Frank Collins as non-executive chairman.

Mr Collins has worked with several private equity-backed businesses and is currently chairman of Summit Medical and non-executive director of Frontier Medical.

Mr Moore said he had launched Bracebridge in response to a strong upturn in M&A activity and business confidence.

He said: “We are seeing a significant upturn in M&A activity and IPO activity and this is having an impact on the pricing of transactions.

“We have launched Bracebridge in response to this upturn and the need for business owners to take advice from senior, experienced corporate finance specialists to ensure they optimise the value for their business and to help high growth companies put the right funding structure in place to meet anticipated growth.”
