Accountancy firm Dains has completed a move to new headquarters in the heart of Birmingham’s commercial sector.

The firm is set to move to new premises located at 15 Colmore Row from its existing base at Fort Dunlop following an extensive refurbishment of the city centre property.

Chief executive Spencer Wright said: “The move to the newly-refurbished Fort Dunlop development in 2007 moved us closer to the Birmingham market place and gave us the opportunity to get a taste of what was going on locally.

“The last six years at Fort Dunlop have been incredibly successful, reflected by very strong revenue growth and a trebling of the size of the team based there including five new partner and director appointments.

“Our new 7,000 sq ft office in the Colmore Business District puts us right in the heart the Birmingham professional’s community and also delivers a more spacious and improved environment for staff and clients alike. We have incorporated some new features into the office - including the cafe area and the ‘Think Tank’ - which have already been well received.

Mr Wright said the company was delighted with the new premises.

He said: “We are working with some of the region’s strongest privately-owned businesses and entrepreneurs and look forward to sharing success with them and many others in the coming years. Our five5 other primary offices in the Midlands are unaffected by the move and we are continuing to invest and grow in these locations too.”
