Kind-hearted staff at the Colmore Row office of a global property services firm have raised £5,000 for Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Cushman & Wakefield employees held a number of fundraisers in the past year, starting with a charity evening at city bar and restaurant Metro, a favourite with property professionals.

The event, backed by the Office Agents Society and the Industrial Agents Society, featured folk singer/songwriter Edwina Hayes.

Follow-up activities brought the total raised to £5,000, which is going towards a number of projects at the hospital.

In a further boost to the hospital, staff at Cushman & Wakefield spent three days refurbishing various balcony areas at the adjacent Ronald McDonald House, which is used by families whose children are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
