High-end furniture brand Heal's has appointed Jewellery Quarter PR firm Rewired to run its national press office.

The agency will deliver press office support alongside the company's in-house PR and marketing teams.

Rewired was initially appointed to support the launch of the new Heal's store in the Mailbox, in Birmingham city centre, which included a series of launch events, media relations activity and communications to develop awareness across the Midlands and drive footfall.

Following the launch last month, Rewired has secured a national brief to provide PR services to Heal's across consumer, business and trade media.

Harj Millington, commercial director at Rewired, said: "We're extremely excited and privileged to extend our role with such a high-profile and nationally recognised brand within the lifestyle and homewares sector.

"It is a great appointment for Rewired at a time when our portfolio of consumer, retail and homewares brands is going from strength-to-strength.

"We look forward to delivering strong results for Heal's over the coming months."

Daniel Boden-Wilson, marketing and PR manager at Heal's, added: "We were delighted with the results of our Birmingham new store launch.

"Off the back of that success, we saw Rewired as the perfect choice to provide national press office support to us."

Established in 1810, Heal's has six stores across England and its outlet in the Mailbox forms part of a new furniture department store section on the ground floor.
