Black Country event and communication agency Top Banana has bolstered its team with six new appointments.

Leading the sextet of new recruits is the company's first dedicated head of marketing communications Rebecca Jeavons and head of venues Sam Dyus.

Making up the new faces are account executive Jessica Bond, production executive Hattie Byron and junior motion graphics designer Ed Waldron.

The Stourbridge-based firm said it was now looking to double in size by 2020.

Managing director Nick Terry said: "We're delighted to be announcing this latest wave of recruitment at Top Banana as we continue to grow in size.

"We had another great year in 2014/15 and have set ourselves ambitious targets for this year to stay on track for our 2020 goals.

"Testament to this is the recruitment of our first ever dedicated head of marketing communications to ensure the continuation of our aggressive marketing, thought leadership and business development strategy.

"The other really important, but often untold, story is the one about talent retention.

"As well as extending our team, we're incredibly proud to be retaining and developing the formidable talent we already have, both in our London and Midlands offices."

Top Banana aims to create leadership driven events and communications and its services include venue sourcing, pre-event engagement and video production.
