Public relations and marketing consultancy Liquid has boosted its Birmingham team with two new faces as the company continues to expand.

Account executives Leila Taleb and Ben Tucker have joined the agency's city centre office which has now doubled its client-facing team in the past 18 months.

The office expansion has also seen Jon Perks promoted to senior account manager and Laura Turner promoted to senior account executive.

Mr Perks now heads up Liquid's food division, whose clients include the Irish food board Bord Bia and the Federation of Quebec Maple Syrup Producers.

Chief executive Elisabeth Lewis-Jones said: "This is an exciting time at Liquid. Our move to the city centre earlier this year provided a springboard to grow our Birmingham team.

"The promotions of Jon and Laura are well deserved. We believe in nurturing and developing our team, especially when it comes to training and qualifications.

"Jon has completed his Chartered Institute of Public Relations Advanced Certificate and Laura is set to join the same course at Birmingham City University this autumn.

"We also continue to develop our portfolio of international clients, especially those targeting the UK market."
