Birmingham-based PR firm Story Comms has won three new clients and boosted its senior team with the hire of a new director.

London-based data analysts Movement Strategies, law firm Mills & Reeve and executive search business Berwick Partners have all commissioned the agency's services on long-term contracts.

The trio joins a roster that includes investor Finance Birmingham, utilities firm Glide and financial services outfit Wesleyan.

Since its launch last year, Story Comms has also delivered PR and broader integrated campaigns for the opening of John Lewis in Birmingham, Marketing Birmingham and developer Seven Capital.

In addition to the client wins, Greg Aris has joined the city centre-based agency as a director from Smarts where he led teams delivering digital integrated campaigns.

In his new role, he will lead the consultancy's day-to-day operations, client delivery and product development arm.

Managing director Amanda Lowe said: "We're growing fast at Story as more clients back our approach, ideas and team with their business.

"Each of our three new clients have asked for long-term arrangements, which is a real testament to their trust in us and our ability to impact their bottom line."

Last year, Story Comms was a finalist in the Birmingham Post Business Awards in the start-up of the year category.
