Thirty jobs are being created in Stratford-upon-Avon as a new Marco Pierre White restaurant opens in the historic market town.
The new restaurant will be a Marco’s New York Italian and the latest to open under the name of the celebrity chef, joining the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, which has been on the top floor of the Cube in Birmingham city centre, since December 2011.
The restaurant, which is situated on Chapel Street, is creating 30 new positions and recruitment is currently underway.
Mark Nesbitt, spokesman for Marco’s New York Italian, Stratford-upon-Avon, said: “This is a really exciting opportunity to bring Marco’s cuisine to Stratford-upon-Avon.
“With the location of the restaurant on Chapel Street being in such a prime spot within the town and within close proximity to all of the theatres, we look forward to welcoming visitors in for pre- and post-performance dining.”
The restaurant has set a date of August 14 for its opening, with an official launch party to be announced shortly after.
